Welcome to Friendship Haven Online Learning! Does your learner love Roblox and want to make new friends from around the world?! You've found the perfect spot with this Friendship Haven class taught by Ms. Kat! On the private server operated by Ms. Kat, learners will join to play a Roblox game called Pick a Side. She will be sure each learner has a chance to suggest their favourite Roblox game for future classes. Gamers will get to safely play their favourite Roblox game and meet new friends while parents will have the ease of knowing that their child is playing safely online. The best part? This is an inclusive gaming zone! Ms. Kat is a mom who enjoys playing Roblox with her children. She's excited to play Pick a Side with learners on Outschool! It is a great way for your learner to interact with peers and develop friendships. BONUS; Friends will learn new Roblox skills from their peers. Ms. Kat can't wait to see all your smiling faces in our Friendship Haven classroom! This is a safe space for all learners to feel welcome. Ms. Kat is present to help make everyone feel welcome while teaching respect and fairness. No prior experience playing Roblox is required. Ms. Kat and new friends are always willing to teach learners how to play! It is suggested, if possible, to use Zoom via Outschool and Roblox on 2 separate devices as the learner may experience lagging, freezing, or delays in the game or the Zoom class. Please have Roblox downloaded and an account already set up so the student can access the private server. No other experience required but knowledge is always welcome! All levels are welcome in this class.

Parental Guidance
Gamer tags will be required for the class. We understand that private servers are important for educators to help keep our Learners safe while enjoying their online gameplay, and that gamer tags may be necessary to join those private servers. Learners or parents can only message gamer tags directly through a private message. We will not allow learners to share their gamer tags in the classroom comments. These comments will be deleted. Thank you for understanding our commitment to learner safety!

Ms. Kat is a fun mom who enjoys playing Roblox with her two daughters and their friends. Her children are 5 and 9 years old. She can’t wait for you to join her during this Roblox social club! Ms. Kat lives in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada with her children and two dogs. Between parenting, babysitting and play dates she's basically a kid pro at this point!
Ms. Kat has been playing Roblox with her oldest child for over 2.5 years. While creating this class, Friendship Haven's owner heard Ms. Kat's daughter proudly say kids will enjoy hanging out with her mom. She's a bit jealous that you might get a chance to play with her mom while she's busy at school! Ms. Kat hopes to welcome you into her class while making you feel as comfortable as her own children do while playing Roblox together. She will make sure your online fun is in a safe and welcoming space. She really enjoys helping learners meet friends of all ages from around the world!
