Roblox Reading Tutor: Level 3 of Series - Comprehension Vocabulary & Phonics
In this on-going class, we will practice reading comprehension, fluency, and slowing down while reading. We will use fun, teacher-created stories to improve reading skills and keep the kids excited! #academic

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their reading comprehension and fluency skills. They will also learn the importance of taking their time to answer questions and complete assignments.
Experienced tutor with a Master's degree in Child and Adolescent development.
Students will be given a graphic organizer to complete with each class. Completion will earn the opportunity to enter the Roblox Club where we will play games together on the Roblox platform.
A printable template will be used for weekly homework assignments. This can be downloaded upon entering the classroom for the first time.
Students will be assessed through weekly assignments. They will receive feedback based on their performance.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents will need to approve student participation in the Saturday Roblox Club. We will play games on Roblox as a reward for completing assignments during and after class. We will also use a third party tool called NearPod. All materials are teacher created and 100% unofficial. They will follow a Roblox game story line.
Students will use Nearpod and Roblox as needed per weekly topics.
