- Students will be shown various strategies and encouraged to use the one that works best for them.
- Students will learn basic arithmetic through various strategies, including multiplication and division.
- Practice Addition and Subtraction with Personalized Tutoring: Multiplication Tutoring, Math Word Problems Tutoring, Order of Operations, Fractions, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade.
- Designed for reluctant learners, particularly those with ADHD, ASD, Autism, or ODD, and who enjoy gaming, Roblox, Fortnite, VR, and Gorilla Tag type games.
- Students will practice math with the teacher, interact with other children, and make new friends while playing Roblox.
I hold a Master's Degree in the Science of Psychology specializing in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University. I am also a private tutor for math and reading. I specialize in helping children with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and Dysgraphia. ESA, EMA, classwallet and microgrants are eligible for this class.

This class is thoughtfully designed to embrace and support unique learning needs, including those of children with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other diverse educational requirements.
Roblox account with a username.
Students will need their own username and password on Roblox. They CAN use two different devices if that's easier. For example, they can join the lesson on a laptop and use a tablet to join the game. If two devices are not available, they can still join from the browser. I will send a link at the beginning of class and assist with the tech.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be given a tutorial of the skill we're reviewing. This will be done with a video and class discussion. Then, they can answer questions and play games along with their classmates on the Roblox platform. Students should have their own username and password. They will be joining a private server along with myself and the others in the classroom. Please let me know if you do not wish for your child to receive ANY friend requests including from other children in the class. BEFORE CLASS, please send a FOLLOW request to MZ MARIANNA on Roblox. This will allow them to join the other students in class on a private server.
Roblox and common core standards for grades 1-6. Students will need their own Roblox account. They may use two devices to join (one for zoom and one for Roblox.) If two devices are not available, they may join on the same device as long as they have access to the Roblox platform.
