In this multi-day class, teacher and learners will use Roblox characters to work together to master the elements of place value. We will begin principles of place value. We will use graphic examples, diagrams, discussion, and practice problems to develop an in-depth understanding of place value. The topics covered will include the names of each place value, rounding to different place values, addition and subtraction, equivalency and non-equivalency, and number lines. Learners will be provided with class documents to print before each week of classes. Please insure that your learner has their documents for each class meeting. Much of the class work will be based on these documents.
