Class Experience

In this ongoing social gaming club class, we will play the popular Roblox game Pet Story together. This is a story and role play game in which we will play as lovable, adoptable pets seeking to find a forever home. The journey is filled with adventure and adversity, but love always conquers all!   

This is a story game, so it is important that we all start at the same time. Having a good connection is especially important for story games. Each learner will recommend a preferred ending and then I will put it on the wheel. We will play through the ending that the wheel lands on.  In this story game, I am able to REVIVE learners using my Robux. 

Most learners will play and zoom on two separate devices. However, it depends on your computer specs and connectivity.

Parental Guidance

This is a gaming class played on the Roblox platform. Students will need to have their account set up prior to class and will need to friend me in-order to join the private server. This particular game has very mild video game violence. Each level typically has a task or an antagonistic character that they have to defeat or evade in order to move to the next level of the storyline.

I am a mom of many and a teacher of more!   I have a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling, Bachelors Degree in History and a Minor in Art and Career Counseling. I love to learn and am constantly learning new ways to make my classroom more engaging and exciting for my students, so they develop an intrinsic love of learning too!   I also love kids and want every student to know just how special they are! I have 5 very diverse children who inspire me to create fun and customizable classes. I have taught thousands of classes with my online ESL job (4 years) and Outschool (1 year). I was a former college counselor, turned stay at home mom, turned home-school mom, turned work at home mom/teacher. It's a page turner for sure. I also like to sew, embroider, paint and clean (that one is a prerequisite for all of the above). I am a fitness fanatic and love to exercise.  Life is busy, but fulfilling and I love to teach online and sell home made and resell products online. I am very tech savvy and enjoy bringing fun special effects to my classroom as well as maximizing the virtual experience for a fun classroom experience.
