Welcome to Vaughn's Roblox club! In this one-time class, we will get together and play Roblox. This is a fun class where learners can socialize and play the popular online game of Roblox in a safe controlled environment. With Roblox having an endless amount of user-created mini-games, our weekly club will have the option to pick from a variety of games available. Please send me your Roblox username before class so that I can add you as a friend on the app and we can get started playing right away at the beginning of class. I will need your learner added as a friend so that they can join my safe, private server. We only get 45 minutes together so there is no time to waste! :) At the beginning of each class I will give a few options of games to choose from and learners will vote on which one they want to play. We will try to stick to just one or two games max. per class in order to make the most out of our 45 minutes together. Please note that even though I do my best to pick games that everyone will enjoy, I cannot guarantee that each learner will get to play the game they want in each class. I try to encourage learners to select games as a group, listen to each other and compromise. Often learners are hesitant to play a new-to-them game but then end up loving it by the end of class! Hi, my name is Vaughn! I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I love spending time with my 1-year-old son, my wife, Ms. Kait and our cat, Milo. 🐈⬛
While completing my bachelor's degree, I began teaching ESL online in 2019. Since then, I have branched out to the wonderfully diverse Outschool platform.
The thing I love about Outschool is that I can teach about the things I am truly passionate about, which include video games, anime, pop culture, and guitar. I always aim to find the best ways to engage my learners so that they will have an exciting and memorable learning experience. 💫
