Class Experience

Students will enjoy gaming and learning the skills and techniques behind gaming. They will be able to create their own games to play, or for others to play.

Roblox

Learners will have fun playing Roblox, socializing, and learning together. We will play a new game each week! Students will be encouraged to share their Roblox player names with other students so they can game outside of the club. Learners will post their Roblox Player Name and top 3 Roblox games to the classroom. Our random generator will choose the game of the week from that list. Gamer tags will be required for the class. Each student will share their gamer tag by messaging the teacher, and we will play games on a private server.

*Guardians must provide permission for their enrolled students to share their Roblox player information with the teacher.

Coding

Each week, we will learn a new skill/project in Roblox Studio. We will rotate coding platforms each week. Various coding concepts will be covered in order to increase the students' knowledge of Roblox Studio coding. Coders can work together and each student will be encouraged to discuss their own programming ideas with the group. This club is perfect for those who are interested in gaming and want to have a basic grasp of how video games are made. Before registering for this club, please make sure that your device is compatible with Roblox Studio.
