Welcome to the Roblox Gamer Club! For over 3 years now I have been providing a fun, engaging, and most importantly, SAFE environment for over 1000 different learners in this class! This is a place where fans of Roblox can come together and discuss tips and tricks as well as their love and passion for the platform. 

This is largely a relaxed, learner driven experience where I am constantly watching and supervising. I do my absolute best to ensure each and every learner is heard and valued. The students are encouraged to talk amongst themselves to learn and improve upon their social skills. For some of my students, the social part is the best part! My students learn the importance of others feelings, thoughts, and how valuable it is for EVERYONE to be heard. Some of my students have made lifelong friends in my classes. 

After you sign up for my class, I will reach out and request you send me a private message with your learners Roblox user name. I will then send them a friend request on the Roblox platform.

At times delicate reminders are needed to encourage the students to take turns on the microphone. It is very understandable that we are all excited to play, grow and learn. Please keep in mind that if things get a bit too exciting and some students, or myself, are unable to be heard, I will use the "mute" feature on Zoom to temporarily stop their audio. I will explain why the student was muted and they are encouraged to unmute as soon as it's their turn. Taking turns and listening to others are great social skills to acquire in this class.

If a handful of students are all enjoying the same game, it is a great opportunity to use breakout rooms.  This allows students who are particularly passionate about games to be able to freely socialize without worrying about interrupting others playing a different game. 

SAFETY is absolutely the number one priority and I am constantly watching to ensure each student is in one of MY PRIVATE servers. Students MUST play in MY PRIVATE servers.

Toward the end of class, I will collect two game suggestions from each learner. The learner can vote for the same game twice, or choose two different games. In most classes we select 4 different games based off of all the game votes. This is a very dynamic class and we can pivot and shift gears to different game choices effortlessly if need be.
 
There are dozens upon dozens of popular, amazing Roblox games that we play every week. It's important for everyone, and their game choice to shine and be selected. New games continue to come out and each one that is picked has been tested and thoroughly checked by myself to ensure it is appropriate content.

The Roblox app and the Zoom app are required to take part in the class. It is encouraged, but not required to have two separate devices, one for Roblox and one for Zoom, for the best experience.
