Beginner Level

This fun and interactive course introduces younger students to Roblox game design without requiring any coding. Over eight classes, students will learn to create vibrant game worlds, design exciting Obby challenges, and enhance their games with interactive elements. The course is designed to be highly interactive, with students engaging in hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and guided tutorials. Classes include live demonstrations, creative exercises, and group discussions to encourage teamwork and creativity. Students will focus on game design and visual elements, culminating in the creation and sharing of their own Obby games.

Explore Roblox Studio: Get familiar with the Roblox Studio interface and tools for building 3D game environments using basic shapes.

Other Details

Parental Guidance

Students will be given a tutorial of the skill we're reviewing. This will be done with a video and class discussion. Then, they can create and play games along with their classmates on the Roblox platform. Students should have their own username and password. They will be joining a private server along with myself and the others in the classroom.

Supply List

Students will need their own username and password on Roblox. They CAN use two different devices if that's easier. For example, they can join the lesson on a laptop and use a tablet to join the game. If two devices are not available, they can still join from the browser. I will send a link at the beginning of class and assist with the tech.
