There are so many games with so many skills to learn. Join us and play a different game each week. But this class is different! Before we play, we will get up and get a little exercise. We will begin class by saying hello and a brief sharing time. Any learner can share something with the entire class if they would like, but sharing is completely optional. Learners are welcome to recommend their favorite games as they would like. I will then prescreen the games for appropriateness and then add them to our weekly schedule. I will make sure that each learner gets one of their favorite games added to the schedule. The importance of movement and not sitting for long periods or time is stressed at the beginning of class. Before we play, we will get up and either dance or have a movement game. The fitness portion will be just for a quick movement break and will last approximately 2-5 minutes. We will then play the game of the week! Learners are welcome to help each other learn the game and work together. It is possible that we will switch games or play more than one game depending on the learners interests. Here are the guidelines for game selection: 🎮 Games must be listed as 'all ages' or 9+ in Roblox. If they are listed as 'n/a' we will not play that game. 🎮 No game that is listed in the 'horror' genre or 13+ will be played. 🎮There are occasions where learners will want to play a different game. Learners are not allowed to join public servers while we are in class. If they wish to join a different game in a public servers, they will need to log out of Zoom to play that particular game. *It is best for learners to join our Outschool class on one device and play Roblox on a separate device. *Students should already have Roblox installed on their chosen device. Once a student enrolls, I will send a private message to obtain their Roblox username.
Learning Goals
Children will practice social and public speaking skills during sharing time. They will develop gross motor skills and coordination through our movement and games. They will learn how to balance gaming with living an active lifestyle. They will learn to play a new Roblox game!

Parental Guidance
Children will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls. They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
I will prescreen Roblox games for age appropriateness, however if parents are concerned about the content of the game, I strongly suggest being present during the class for supervision. If there is a game a parent would not like us to play, please let me know and I will make sure we do not play that game.
