Roblox Build a Boat for Treasure for Advanced Builders
This is an ongoing class for students who are advanced in manipulating tools in Build a Boat where they will be able to hone their building skills and creativity.

We will be learning life skills, critical thinking and building manipulation while we play Build a Boat for Treasure. We will be playing in a private server. The teacher and the learners in this class will be the only ones in the server during class time. Your learner can take this class multiple times, every week is suggested. Some classes will be building as a team. Some classes we will be building solo and show off our builds to each other. Some builds will be for sailing and some for show. Each class is independent and learners are free to come and go as schedules dictate. Week of August 28, 2022: Show me your favorite save. Week of September 4, 2022: Theme build. Week of September 11, 2022: Mini game build. Week of September 18, 2022: Student's choice. Week of September 25, 2022: No flying or car parts. Who can get to the end? Week of October 2, 2022: Let's build a flying ship. Week of October 9, 2022: Team build. Week of October 16, 2022: Student's choice. I foster a positive learning environment where each learner feels safe and respected. Each learner will be expected to do their share. If a learner does not follow directions, server privileges will be removed. If a learner is disruptive to the flow of the class, they will be removed from the private server.

Learners will be required to share their Roblox user name privately with the teacher before class begins in order to enter the private server.

Hello! I am very excited to begin a learning journey with your precious little one (or not so little one, in the case of teens). I have a Bachelors in Postsecondary education with a minor in American Sign Language. I was a homeschool mom for over 20 years. Both my son and daughter graduated from high school 2 years early and we are weeks away from both of them having their BA (at ages 22 and 18). I feel like I have mastered the art of teaching based on the child and their interests. I started teaching my children ASL at birth. My son and my daughter are both sign language interpreters and sign language teachers.
I love teaching and I love learning. I am an avid swimmer. I have been certified as a swim instructor and a personal trainer. I have been teaching online since 2018. I absolutely love seeing children learn and grow. In our classroom we have no stress or negativity. I feel positive reassurance provides the best learning environment. We have lots of fun!
