After a thrilling night of trick-or-treating, we doze off during our sleepover, only to awaken in the eerie basement of a haunted house! To find our way back home, we must work together to solve a series of spine-chilling puzzles scattered across six spooky rooms, all within a time limit of 55 minutes. In this immersive escape room experience, we will explore a unique haunted house created by Ms. Wish in Roblox Adopt Me, specially designed for this event. We’ll tackle a mix of math, logic, and word puzzles, with each room presenting a new mystery to unravel. Teamwork and quick thinking will be essential as we navigate the haunted atmosphere. Can we conquer our fears and escape the clutches of the haunted house before time runs out? Join us for an unforgettable adventure filled with thrills, teamwork, and fun! All participants must have a Roblox account to join Ms. Wish and classmates on a secure, private server. Get ready for a hauntingly good time!

Roblox gamer tags will need to be shared in order to play on my private server (learners will friend the teacher).
I friend students shortly before class begins or at the beginning of class and unfriend students after the class ends for safety and privacy and to comply with Outschool policy.
While students will be playing on a safe, private server during this class, the Roblox game itself has many different games with public servers. Players can freely accept and send friend requests to other students within the game unless parental controls are set.

My name is Christine, but in 2021, many of my learners started calling me by the nickname Ms. Wish after my gamer handle. I love it and it stuck!
I am a former private school classroom teacher and current homeschooling mom. I have taught students from infants to senior citizens in various subjects, though I have a special affinity for video gaming, music, math, theater, and language.
On Outschool, I teach mostly social gaming clubs as I have found a need for learners to socialize while playing their favorite online games in a safe and supervised environment. In these classes, students build important social skills needed to have fun and stay safe in an online gaming environment. I am a strong believer that much learning happens through play! Like Maria Montessori said "play is the work of the child." These days much play happens in the virtual world, and as a lifelong gamer I choose to embrace it!
I have had a passion for teaching since I was in 3rd Grade and was selected for a program that allowed a few students to tutor 1st-grade students in reading and math. Since then, I have worked as a teacher/tutor my entire adult life. I have a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with a concentration in music and have received training in the Kodaly Method of teaching music to young learners. My instrument of choice is my voice.
I have a gentle and playful teaching style built on mutual respect. My favorite quote is from Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, "Careful the things you say. Children will listen. Careful the things you do. Children will see and learn."
When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking and rediscovering the wonders of nature with my son.
