Note to Parents: **Please be sure to read the important details and refund policy below following the class description. It is imperative in order for each student to have a great virtual gaming experience** Thank you! In this fun and exciting social class students will come to talk about the new Adopt Me Easter Update! They will discuss what they like/dislike most! I will briefly discuss the importance of safety and how to spot and beware of scammers! The students will then play on a safe and private server created by me. The goal in class is to bring like minded students together to talk about the things they love! In doing so they will greatly improve their social skills. Throughout the class I will be doing my best to make sure each student has an excellent virtual experience! Please be sure to read the important details below in order to facilitate your child's experience as well! **Important Details** -Students must already have a Roblox account with a username and a general understanding of the game. -Immediately after enrolling in class I must receive the student's Roblox username in order for them to be invited into the private server. I will then send further instruction in the "classroom" tab of Outschool (please keep an eye out for this as it will include my username and the private server name). -Students are encouraged (Highly Recommended) to use a second device other than the device they are using for our class (one device for the zoom class and one to play Roblox on). This is due to the fact that using the same device may cause lags or delays and an overall unpleasant/unsatisfying experience for the student. -Only students in the class and the teacher are allowed on the private server. -Teacher is not responsible for bandwidth/internet issues on student’s end/Roblox connection problems. If student is having issues getting into the server the teacher will first get the other students into the game and then come back to manage the issue at hand. **Refund Policy** Due to this class usually being fully booked I do ask that if you need to cancel/transfer please try to do so at least 24 hrs prior to class in order to allow the students on the wait list to take your spot. Being a parent myself I do understand that things come up.Thank you for your understanding! Thank you and I look forward to meeting all of you in my classroom! Mrs. Adie

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome to my classroom! My name is Denise Adie and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself and my classroom philosophy and goals! I am a Seton Hall University graduate with a B.A. in Psychology. I am also a former athlete, playing soccer and basketball most of my academic career. I have over 20 years of experience working both “in-person” and “online” with students from the ages of 4-18 years-old in the areas of English, Math, Writing, Pronunciation, Grammar and Phonics. In my classroom I like to keep my students highly engaged and eager to learn by creating a stimulating environment which allows them to feel safe and comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their ideas. I also like to try to keep a good sense of humor! My goal is to always make sure no student in my classroom feels left behind in any discussion or activity regardless of skill or knowledge. I offer classes that focus on a variety of subjects and activities focusing mainly on socialization. On a personal note, I have an amazing 8-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes and feeling like the luckiest Mom in the world! In my free time I enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my daughter and husband and watching any sunrise or sunset I can catch! Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to meeting your student(s) in my classroom! -Denise Adie
