The founder of Lemons-Aid, Mrs. Lemons has a B.A. in English and an M.Ed in Education Administration. She is certified to teach English, has a principal's license, and has many years of experience at every level. She also supervises teachers in their undergraduate and graduate-level teacher preparation programs at Colorado Christian University. She is a teacher of teachers.

All teachers who teach this class have an appropriate degree, teaching experience, and training, giving your learner a teacher who is a content-area expert who loves kids. Mrs. Lemons is very selective and only hires the very best. They are star teachers!
See the book schedule in the class description. Students should read the book before class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Roald Dahl's books sometimes explore the darker elements of human nature. They can be scary for sensitive children. Every once in a while, a reader will encounter a curse word in the text, neglect and mistreatment of children, misogyny, racial and ethnic stereotypes, and anti-semitism. We encourage parents to read and discuss these issues with their children since we are not reading aloud in class. If an issue comes up in discussion, the teachers are able to handle each child's opinion, thoughts, and comments with understanding and sympathy, allowing others to share their feelings and ideas. All voices are heard in an equitable environment that respects the human dignity of all. To read details about each book:
