This curriculum will last the length of one semester, meeting once weekly. My goal is for the students to learn about the different states and memorize the USA state capitals. Each class will spotlight multiple states and what they are famous for. We will alternate between activities that will give the students the tools for mastering the state capitals. These activities will include but are not limited to: concentration games, word searches, crossword puzzles, Name charts, fill in the blank...
Students can bring a fun fact from their state when they come to class. We will keep track of them.
I will send links for worksheets.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will create worksheets that will be available for the semester.
