Hello there! My name is Kent, and I am a United States Chess Federation Expert-Level player (USCF Elo Rating 2050), putting me in the top 3% of all US chess rated players. I have won the Ohio Chess Championship and Cleveland Open, state-wide chess tournaments. I am excited to teach your learner how to excel at chess, given my background in teaching chess for hundreds of hours for 100+ students to become intermediate to advanced chess players.
Highly recommend playing the game on chess.com or lichess.org after class is over to ensure that student is aware of all rules.
