Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 6
Intermediate Level
Keep those math skills sharp over the summer and prepare for the upcoming school year while having fun!

This summer camp is designed for rising 6th grade students who have already learned skills listed below in 5th grade, and are wanting to solidify these skills to get ready for 6th Grade. It would also be beneficial for advanced rising 5th graders who would like a head start on 5th grade math skills.

As a former elementary and current middle school math teacher, I have found that there are several key skills that students should be proficient in in order to be successful in middle school math. Each camp class will begin with a mini lesson of the skill through Google Slides, and then we will practice the skill together with an "I Do, We Do, You Do" succession. At the end of each class we will reinforce the skill by playing a fun Blooket or Gimkit game.
