Class Experience

As a certified PiYo instructor for the last 6 years, I have had the privilege of leading women through group fitness classes and am now excited to share the love of fitness and mindfulness with children.
Yoga mat, towel, or blanket Favorite Stuffed Animal Printouts provided by the teacher
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents, please ensure your learner has adequate space, with no obstacles around them for this class. I recommend practicing on a yoga mat. If you don't have a yoga mat, practicing on a non-slip carpet is fine too.

Learners should wear comfortable clothing to the class that allows free movement (no socks, please!).

I recommend practicing on a light stomach, so have your learner eat at least an hour before class begins. Learners should have a water bottle handy in case they feel thirsty during class.

Please supervise your learner during class so that you may be able to help them promptly in the event of an injury.
Various childhood books will be read during class.
Titles include, but not limited to:
The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein
My Magical Words, by Becky Cummins
The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle
The Tickle Monster, by Josie Bissett
The Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly, by Lucille Colandro
Where The Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak
