Need an extra cup of coffee in the morning? Want to help your child meet the day with positivity and joy? Is it difficult for them to stay focused throughout the school day? Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents, please ensure your learner has adequate space, with no obstacles around them for this class. I recommend practicing on a yoga mat. If you don't have a yoga mat, practicing on a non-slip carpet is fine too. Learners should wear comfortable clothing to the class that allows free movement (no socks, please!). I recommend practicing on a light stomach, so have your learner eat at least an hour before class begins. Learners should have a water bottle handy in case they feel thirsty during class. Please supervise your learner during class so that you may be able to help them promptly in the event of an injury.
Various childhood books will be read during class. Titles include, but not limited to: The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein My Magical Words, by Becky Cummins The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle The Tickle Monster, by Josie Bissett The Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly, by Lucille Colandro Where The Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak
