CLASS DESCRIPTION
******************************************
In this class, students will learn the essential skill of empathy, focusing on understanding and supporting peers who may be experiencing bullying or similar situations. By truly understanding and appreciating the thoughts and perspectives of others, students will help create a more inclusive and supportive environment.

The class begins with an icebreaker related to empathy, followed by defining what empathy is and exploring practical ways to develop it. Students will be given various prompts and practice showing empathy by responding to each prompt. By responding to these prompts, they will learn how to apply empathy to real-life situations. By the end of the class, each student will be able to demonstrate empathy towards others.

This interactive and fun class will be conducted on Nearpod, and each student will receive a workbook to use throughout the course. Students will engage in hands-on activities and gain valuable skills to help them build stronger, more empathetic relationships.
