COURSE DESCRIPTION
******************************************
In this class, students will learn how developing a positive mindset can build confidence and resilience, helping them rise above bullying. This engaging and interactive course is designed to help students see the bright side of things and focus on the good rather than the bad. Each session kicks off with an icebreaker related to positivity, setting the tone for a supportive and encouraging environment.

Students will define what a positive mindset looks like and explore practical ways to develop one. They will collaborate on exercises to turn negatives into positives and learn how to apply their positive mindset to overcome challenging situations, including bullying. As part of the course, students will also create four affirmations they can use when facing bullying.

The class will be conducted on Nearpod, and each student will receive a workbook to use throughout the course. With a mix of hands-on activities, collaborative brainstorming, and engaging tutorials, students will gain the tools and confidence needed to rise above bullying and embrace a positive mindset.
