Right Start Math is innovative hands-on math that allows the use of visual pictures to solve problems. It has a different approach but provides students with the foundation for everyday life, advanced math for science in our technological world. This curriculum provided many opportunities for review within the lesson to ensure students are learning and retaining the information. According to Dr. Joan Cotter's research, this curriculum will allow students to view numbers in a vital way to understand arithmetic procedures. In these lessons (1 - 31), there are 23 worksheets and lots of games and activities. This curriculum is great for active and kinesthetic learners. Students will need to log in to access the lessons and complete them at their own pace. Each week, four new recordings will be made available, and on the fifth day, students are expected to engage with the suggested games that accompany the videos.
