Class Experience

Right Start Math is innovative hands-on math that allows the use of visual pictures to solve problems. It has a different approach but provides students with the foundation for everyday life, advanced math for science in our technological world. This curriculum provided many opportunities for review within the lesson to ensure students are learning and retaining the information. I will be suggesting activities and games that will support the lessons taught. However, the parents are responsible for doing these activities with their children.

In order to respect copyright every student is required to have a copy of the curriculum.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I will not be assigning grades. Parents interested in assessments or tutoring can arrange this with me separately (Parents will be responsible for the cost)

1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This curriculum do not approach math concept in the traditional way, so parents can reach out to me if they have questions.
