In this 3 week class, students will learn how to summarize a reference, use citations and rewrite that information in their own words.  Our focus will be on Walt Disney's triumph at the World's Fair and his original plans for EPCOT.

In this 3 week class, we are going to discover some of Walt Disney's biggest dreams and inventions.  We will also be summarizing about these dreams and learn how to write from reference material, all while imagining the future of EPCOT.

We are diving into Walt's use of the World's Fair to expand his parks. We will be reading reference materials and summarizing that material into an outline.  We will then use that outline to rewrite the reference material into our own words.
