Description
Class Experience
-Students will be able to identify the terrestrial planets. -Students will be able to differentiate between different terrestrial planets by discussing their different features.
-4 cups of puffed rice cereal such as rice krispie cereal. -20 regular marshmallows or equivalent. -1.5 tablespoons butter -Food coloring -Candies to decorate (I prefer gummy bears) -Several mixing bowls -Mixing spoons -A plate for your final rice krispies
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
-Learners use either a stove or a microwave to melt marshmallows. Please provide adequate supervision or ensure that your learner has the pertinent skills. -We also use food coloring which can be messy so please prepare accordingly.
