Class Experience

Boaz Rhythm Center provides a very special edutainment class.
we call "Rhythm Martial arts". This is the world's first multi-class with music and sports. through the class, learners can workout and rhythm study at the same time.

Our goal is not just one.
The main goal is to teach a self-defense with Taekwondo training. So we researched how to make learners training more easily and quickly especially for young ages . and we realized how we study when we have to memorize(Please remember the Alphabet song or day of the week song). Yes, with music!! Everyone knows music is a very powerful tool and rhythm is one of factor of music. we promise that rhythm martial arts will very attractive class to the most fastest way to learn self-defense.

Our second goal is learning rhythm not just sitting down on the table. Through workout with jump and clap, our body will learn a rhythm smoothly. Rhythm workout is the best way to get a muscle memory.

Bottom line is, through Rhythm Martial arts class, the learner can get a self-defense skill in a fun way and also get a rhythm sense very well.

Every class, we will provide a different music chart for rhythm reading. After learning a rhythm(with sight-reading, rhythm tapping) we will have time to get a muscle memory with fun exercises. And the next step is to learn Taekwondo skills (punches, kicks, and blocks). And important last part is practicing Taekwondo skills with rhythm what used for that day's class.

During the class, we will give a chance to students to demonstrate show rhythm workout, show taekwondo skills. And also we will have an edutainment time (as like copycat, target practice with balloons, and competition games).

After each class, our leaners can know new rhythm and play by clapping. and can use at least one Taekwondo skills.

Learning Goals

Our learning goal is to learn self-defense skills based on Taekwondo.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, I'm Boaz.
I had more than 8 years of experience teaching at the preschool, kindergarten, and after school as a music teacher, gym teacher.

As a professional drummer and licensed Taekwondo instructor (4th-degree black belt), I created a special edutainment class.

I will teach Rhythm martial arts class which means during the Taekwondo workout, learn a rhythm together.

I studied music at Berklee College of Music (Massachusetts) and had enough background as a drum teacher too. And also I'm a father of 3 young children. I can say I know how to teach the children.

Thank you for your interest.
