⭐⭐Hello & Welcome to SING CREATE PLAY!⭐⭐

♪ In this high-energy ongoing club, learners will explore the basics of music.

♪ We will sing, clap, jump, walk, run on the spot, stomp and play our musical instruments during very interactive and energetic musical games. Children won't need a lot of space to move, movement is done around their chair or on the spot, but clearing the floor is recommended, around the area learners will do the class.

♪ Guardian participation is necessary for safety and engagement.

🧠 Why Music Matters:

Music is a powerful tool for early childhood development. In this class, your child will build skills in:

~ Language development – through repetition, rhyme, and singing
~ Motor coordination – by clapping, tapping, and moving to the beat
~ Listening and focus – by following simple rhythms and musical cues
~ Emotional expression – by using music to explore feelings and joy
~ Social connection – through shared songs and interactive play

👣 Developmental Fit:

This class is designed for toddlers aged 18–24 months who are beginning to:
~ Walk independently
~ Say simple words or short phrases
~ Show interest in music, rhythm, and basic pretend play

To ensure the best fit, we encourage families to share a few notes about their child’s current developmental stage during enrollment. This helps us tailor the class to support your little one’s growth in the most meaningful way. 💛

Let’s sing, play, and grow together!

♪ Each class will follow the same structure:

1. Hello Song with actions and visuals 'Hickerty-Pickerty Bumble Bee' / or 'Wave your hands'.
2. A moving around song with musical instruments, props or body percussion.
3. Teaching of a new concept (a new rhythm pattern, call and response patterns, a melody, keeping a steady beat, etc) with the help of movement, visuals, musical instruments or other props (cards, soft toys, etc). Some examples of musical elements we will be discussing / playing on our musical instruments: Fast and Slow Music, Loud and soft Songs, Long and Short musical notes, Sound and silence (rest) in music
4. Opportunity to practise the new concept on different musical instruments while moving.
5. Consolidate - how can we make it more challenging? Who would like to have a go at....?
6. Improvise/ freestyle.
7. A calming song/lullaby
8. A goodbye song

Hello there!

♪ Children learn best when all their senses are put together in the learning experience and also when the class meets their learning style (auditory, visual and kinaesthetic or a combination of 2 learning styles and even all 3 together). That's why, in my class I use visuals, I use movement and props (musical instruments, soft toys, other manipulatives) to stimulate the engagement of the whole brain!
