Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to proof and edit their own papers through the proofing and editing of one of their own works so that these skills can be applied to their future writing.
I have been teaching writing and proofreading and editing skills for over 25 years. This is something I love doing and hope to cultivate a love of it in the learners, as well.
There is no definitive homework for this class. Students may wish to rewrite their stories/papers/essays after taking this class, so that their final draft includes any changes made during our class.
a written story, essay, paper, etc. that the learner wishes to edit highlighters, red pens paper & pencil (just in case we need to redo part of the story)
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
