Class experience
Virtues are: a person's morals or principles they live by. They are beneficial qualities helping to respect themselves and those in the world around them. Respecting those virtuess in others lives are important lessons to learn also! One of the easiest and best ways to learn is through a story. We learn to relate to characters and see different points of view in a light non judgemental way! In this fun class, we'll discuss 10 or so different virtues and look at how we live each of those...
Students will learn virtues and the importance of those virtues in their lives.
My many years as a preschool teacher/owner, school teacher, specialty needs aide and practitioner in private practice helping clients to explore their emotional health to heal, allows me to be confident in my ability to guide students through learning things that can, in turn, help them be balanced emotionally through all their learning experiences in life. The primary classes I teach are emotional health classes. In these we learn the value of our emotions and emotional balance, and how to be happier and calmer day to day. My virtue classes, using Winnie The Pooh stories to learn, are a great stepping stone to remind children of the importance of virtues we sometimes forget!
I'll send a color page each week so students can color if they wish as they listen, learn, and discuss with their class mates. We'll share them at the end of class.
As Parents/caregivers, you can help support continued learning and growing in the virtues we discuss.
