Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of figurative language in literature and how an author uses it to express mood and tone.
IXL practice assignments (10 minutes after or before class)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be using Google Slides for the main portion of our class, however, we will also be using IXL for student practice and Gimkit to show understanding. Families can create a student account with both of these digital resources, however, I will also provide instruction on how students can access if they can not create an account. Please feel free to look into these resources prior to learning.
