In this one time interactive course, students will learn numbers in Spanish, discuss, and solve math problems using proper terminology in Spanish. This is a beginner level Spanish course! Students will learn numbers in Spanish through slides, activities, and games. Students will also practice numbers in Spanish by learning math terminology in the target language to create, and solve, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems. Therefore, prior knowledge of how to do these basic math skills is necessary to actively participate in the course. This is a fun, interactive way to learn Spanish terminology, and practice basic math skills! Yay!
Learning Goals
Students will learn numbers and math terminology in Spanish. Students will create and solve basic math problems, and use Spanish math vocabulary learned in class to discuss the math problem. Fun!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. I taught Spanish at a traditional public middle school for 11 years and at a traditional public high school for 3 years. Currently, I am the administrative supervisor and instructional leader of the World Languages Department at a traditional public high school. I have experience teaching all core content areas at the elementary level in a traditional school classroom, as well as in a bilingual classroom.
