Come join the fun as we learn about some Restless Reptiles! Restless Reptiles of Florida: Sea Turtles is part of a series of classes covering some of the major reptiles that call the State of Florida home. In this class students will learn about the five species of sea turtle that nest on Florida’s beaches and spend their lives in the open oceans. Students will be introduced to sea turtle habitats, nesting areas, and diets. Fun facts will be presented throughout the lesson. There will be plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and participate in group discussions. The lesson will be presented via PowerPoint and short video clips. This presentation will be shared with students after the lesson so it can be used as a reference for other projects such as writing or independent research.
