Parents are our first & best teachers. Yet, not listening, showing disrespect, yelling, are all things I teach every day. Some children get in the habit of treating parents disrespectfully, let's work to change this behavior.

I teach from my own experience. I was a disruptive child. I teach these topics so my learners can see the effect their behavior has on those around them and themselves. Disrespectful behavior affects every person in the house. When we don't listen, we give our parents a new job. We take their time and energy away from them and ourselves. In this class, we are going to discuss listening, respect, how our choices impact those around us and how we are limiting our own experiences because of our lack of respect. There will be a worksheet at the end of the class for students to make a plan to stick to their new goals. *I have added additional worksheets to cover triggers, behavior/consequence trackers The video for this class is 22:57 minutes long.
