In this class all about reptiles, we will explore some of the most unique and incredible reptiles found all around the world and use LIVE ANIMALS to demonstrate amazing characteristics about reptiles. Classes will be organized based on the continent. We will dive heavily into the physical and behavioral adaptations of each species and how they help them survive in their particular habitat. Students will understand the characteristics that reptiles share. Students will identify physical and behavioral adaptations of various reptiles and understand how they benefit that species in its ecosystem. Students will be familiar with basic natural history information of various reptile species.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
