Students will gain knowledge and understanding relating to each of the animals presented. Students will be able to talk about information learned. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in guided reading if they are on reading level (this is not required if students are not comfortable reading!)
No homework but note taking is encouraged! Share what you are learning with your family after class!
The teacher will gauge understanding thru informal assessment. This will be done by looking at participation in class, answers to discussion questions and ability to express taught information verbally.
