This ongoing advanced remedial math class is going to review and introduce concepts in a clear and logical order. Step-by-step detailed explanations will show the process for each type of problem within a new concept. Beyond reviewing some of the fundamental concepts that were reviewed in the Fundamentals of Basic Math class, we will give strong emphasis on probability, statistics, graphing, equations, inequalities, systems of equations, percentages, measurements, accounting, and basic banking. Lesson 1 (Tuesday, May 3, 2022) - Advanced processes of Order of Operations: example: 9/3 + 2(9+10) - 8 + 4 * 3 = 9/3 + 2(19) Parenthesis -8 + 4 * 3 = 3 Division + 2(19) - 8 + 4 * 3 = 3 + 38 1st Multiplication - 8 +4 * 3 = 3 +38 - 8 + 12 2nd Multiplication = 41 1st Addition - 8 + 12 = 33 Subtraction +12 = 33 + 12 Final Addition = 45 Lesson 2 (Tuesday, May 10, 2022) - Number classification: Natural number, Whole number, Integer, Rational Number, and Irrational Number.
