What's included

30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Does your child enjoy the Percy Jackson characters and "Heroes of Olympus" novel series? So do I! In this ongoing class, we will meet weekly to discuss these fantastic books and characters, and to explore the Greek mythology behind the characters. At the end of each class, students will participate in a guided relaxation exercise. Please note that each class can be taken separately and does not build on any other classes, so you can drop in and out as needed! Each week in this class, we will focus on a group of chapters in one particular book in the series through a combination of teacher-led and student-led discussion. I highly encourage interaction and participation in my classes, while also being mindful of those who are not comfortable participating. Although no prior knowledge is needed, students will most likely enjoy this class more if they have read the books. Each week's discussion does not build on previous week's discussions. After the book discussion, I will lead the class in a guided relaxation exercise that is designed to bring focus and a feeling of peace and tranquility to the rest of their day.
