This class is designed to allow students to review and confirm what they already know and/or to help them in areas that they might need additional instruction. The class will be structured around a PowerPoint presentation. First, we will collaboratively review vocabulary pertinent to the day's lesson. Then, we will review how to find the circumference of a circle. Next, I will show some examples. Then, we will do some problems together. Next, the students will solve some problems. Once...
Students will receive additional instruction on how to find the circumference and area of a given circle.
My experience has been that sometimes students need additional instruction before they are able to fully understand some math concepts. I hope this class will help.
Homework will be optional, but may be suggested so that students can continue to practice their skills.
Please have your student come prepared. A few pieces of paper and a couple of pencils are recommended.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
