⭐In this 6-week course, learners will learn how to add and subtract 2 digit numbers with regrouping!⭐ 👉🏼This class is perfect for the learner who has been adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers together and is ready to learn how to do so when regrouping is involved. We’ll make regrouping engaging, upbeat and encouraging! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C L A S S B R E A K D O W N : ➕Week 1: Place Value Students will know the value of digits in the tens and ones. Students will be able to represent numbers using a model. Students will be able to represent numbers using expanded form ➕Week 2: Regrouping with Addition Using Models and Expanded Form Students will be able to add 2-digit numbers using models. Students will be able to add 2-digit numbers using expanded form. ➕Week 3: Regrouping with Addition Using Standard Form Students will review adding using models and expanded form. Students will be able to add 2-digit numbers using standard form. ➕Week 4: Regrouping with Subtraction Using Models and Expanded Form Students will be able to subtract 2-digit numbers using models. Students will be able to subtract 2-digit numbers using expanded form. ➕Week 5: Regrouping with Subtraction Using Standard Form Students will review subtracting using models and expanded form. Students will be able to subtract 2-digit numbers using standard form. ➕Week 6: Word Problems with 2-Digit Addition and Subtraction OR **Review of 2-Digit Addition and Subtraction Students will be able to solve word problems that involve 2-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping. **Regrouping can be a tricky concept to grasp. If students are not ready to move onto word problems, week 6 will be spent with continued practice with equations.
