Red Creative Writing Class

In this class, learners will write an original piece of creative writing using the colour red as a spring board for their imagination.

Learners will discuss with me which objects, emotions and phrases are linked to the word red, eg strawberries and love.

I will also ask if red has any cultural significance in the learner’s culture, eg red is worn at weddings in India.

I will ask the learner to choose one word or phrase from each category and use those words either in their creative writing piece or as a spring board to write.

The learner will then write a piece of original creative writing. They can either read it at the end of the class or send it to me after the class has ended.

Learners will interact with me throughout and can ask questions as a free flowing conversation.
