Does your child look up in the clouds and see dragons or bunnies or castles? Then this is the class for them! Students will stretch their imagination by using paper scraps to create picture scenes. First the teacher will walk the students through the concept of perspective and guide them on how to look at a shape and see more than one form or how adding a few lines to a shape can make it turn into something else (from a triangle to party hat, for example). Students will share different...
1. Colored or patterned scraps: different sizes and shapes are best (nothing too large though) 2. Coloring tools of choice (crayons, markers, colored pencils) but nothing too messy like paint 3. Several pieces of plain white paper as the background 4. Glue stick
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
