Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to use GarageBand to create loop recordings. They will be able to add voice, pre-recorded instruments, sound effects, and more to their project. They will learn how to save and download their recordings as mp3 or wav files, and use them in other projects.
Learners will create individual projects. No homework will be assigned, but between class meetings, they should feel free to practice skills learned.
Informal assessments will be used to indicate that a learner was able to successfully use the software to create their own recording.
1 hour per class, and maybe some time outside of class.

If your student will be using GarageBand, this information is directly from the support.apple.com website..."Schools can use Apple features and services for education in compliance with their obligations under COPPA and FERPA in the United States, and other applicable data privacy laws in those jurisdictions in which Apple School Manager is available."
