It’s recess time! While many consider this simply a time for students to relax, run around or socialize. I believe it’s also the time of day when a great deal of social and emotional learning occurs for Preschool & Kindergarten students. Students will engage with the teacher and other students through play, stories, drawing, dance, show and tell, and other fun activities. Our time focuses on practicing age-appropriate social skills and providing opportunities to play with other students of the same age level.

It’s recess time! Every day, millions of children run, as fast as they can, to their school playgrounds. Taking a break from the classwork for roughly 25 minutes. This class is exactly that! We will start "Recess" off, waving and singing hello to our friends joining us and then quickly reviewing our Recess Rules.
