The Rebound by Kwame Alexander Book Club is an exciting and engaging reading club designed specifically for middle school students. It's aim is to delve into the world of Kwame Alexander's fictional verse novel titled "Rebound." This book club is a fantastic opportunity for young readers to connect with literature and foster a love for reading through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities. The club meets once a week for nine weeks, creating a vibrant and immersive experience for all readers.

During each and every class the teacher and learners will discuss the assigned chapters and learners will be able to share their thoughts, insights, and questions about the story. Learners will also engage in creative writing activities inspired by the book, such as composing poems or short stories. They will also participate in hands-on art projects that are connected to the book's themes and characters, allowing them to express their understanding of the text in a creative way. At the end of the six weeks, each learner will present a final project related to "Rebound." This could be a presentation, artwork, a short story, or any other creative expression of their understanding of the book.

Parental Guidance
"Rebound" by Kwame Alexander talks about death of a parent and depression. The theme of the book is about rebounding from the bad/sad events in our life and about how life can get better. There is also mention of teenage crushes.
