Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about symbolism, resources/trade, and socioeconomic factors present in "The Hunger Games" series through teamwork and discussions.
I have taught for three years, and tutored students in English.
Students will not have homework, as assignments will be worked on and discussed in class.
Students will need to take notes. For the flyer assignment, students will need coloring supplies. Any worksheets involved will be provided for students to print.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed through the completion of their in-class projects.
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
This camp is based on "The Hunger Games" series, which includes themes of drug usage, murder and other violence, corrupt governments, socioeconomic inequality, and mentions of suicide.
