Class Experience

The primary goals of this class are to connect with other readers, share recommendations, and develop positive reading habits. We will use academic vocabulary and practice comprehension skills throughout. We will discuss genre, practice summarizing, make predictions, and discuss connections.
Students will prepare a quick book talk to share between the two sessions. This can be about any realistic fiction book they have read.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
