In this ongoing class learners will learn to draw different subjects using shapes and lines, enhancing with value and texture or color in order to create a realistic drawing.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this ongoing class we will learn to draw a different subject each week ranging from animals, insects, human features, plants, food, etc. We will use the elements of art such as line and shape to sketch out the subject. Details will be added to make the drawing look more realistic using value, color and texture. Depending on the subject, different techniques and tools may be introduced. Learners will experience the artmaking process. Students will practice realistic drawing. Students will learn about the elements of art and various drawing techniques. Learners will take part in an art critique.
