Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner Level
Let's embrace the season of Autumn! We will use lines and shapes to create a realistic pumpkin drawing. Time will be spent learning to blend colors using our pastels. Pastels can create such bright vivid colors! Warm yellows and orange colors are ideal! Extra details can be added to our picture such as grass, moon, stars, etc. Students are welcome to follow the guided drawing and color suggestions. However students can venture out and make their own creative choices as well.
Throughout class two cameras will be used. One camera will focus on my work area so that students are able to view my artwork as we move through the class. Each step will be explained and shown in detail. While detailed directions are given students are always able to make changes and creative choices! Questions are welcomed as we work. Towards the end of class we will have an optional sharing time. Discussion is encouraged.
