Students will learn basic animal classification for each animal presented. In addition, students will study animal habitats around the world as they pertain to each animal. Animal features, behavior and adaptations will be discussed during each animal presentation. Predators and prey will be thoroughly learned. By the end of this animal exploration, each student should be able to present their own created animal and discuss each of the following: the animal's classification, features, behavior, adaptations, prey and predators.

Homework OfferedThe students will be asked to create their own unusual animal by the end of this exploration. They can present a drawing or 3D image to the class that they have made outside of camp hours.

All students will be expected to construct their own animal creation by the end of the course. This can be a drawing or a 3-D model. Therefore, the students' supplies will be contingent upon each student's needs.
