US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this core based class, that fits the national and international standards for a life science course, children will learn about the real life animals that Pokemon are based on. They will learn about living and non living things through real life animal pictures and group discussion. Children will work together as they play a fun guessing game to figure out which Pokemon is based on the animal..Learners will be required to engage with myself and other students as much as possible because the more the children are involved with the lesson the more they will learn. A fun art activity at the end of class will help children apply what we learned in class. No prior knowledge is needed for this course. All pokemon trainers of all ages and interest are welcome to join.
Learning Goals
Children will learn about living and non living things and the difference between the cartoon Pokemon and their real life counter parts.
