Welcome to Ready, Set...Kindergarten Prep! In this ongoing course, we will meet twice a week to help your child learn the necessary skills to help prepare them for Kindergarten! In this class, we will introduce a new theme each week. We will explore a variety of themes including weather, animals, holidays, sports, feelings, and much more. In this class, students will gain knowledge of the alphabet, phonemic awareness, number knowledge, enhance their social skills, and most of all have fun!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as well as over 10 years of experience teaching Pre-Kindergarten in a licensed facility.
Students will have access to worksheets that will compliment the skills we have worked on each week. These worksheets will be sent as attachments and posted to our classroom discussion board. They are not required for class, but for your convenience.
Students will be encouraged to have the following supplies available during class: -A pencil -A notebook/journal -markers or crayons -construction paper -glue sticks
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
